After talking to one of his workers who told me it wasn't sent out yet, he turned around and told me that it was, but he didn't know that the other guy told me the truth! I didn't call today, but the Fu*ker probably still hasn't sent it out. I'm playing it cool until I get my converter back and then Fu*K his name and shop!

You know it's funny really. I'm not perfect by any means. We both forget stuff here. People aren't stupid. We apologize, say we forgot, and drop what we're doing, and just do it. It goes a whole helluva lot farther to man up and tell someone you forgot, than to lie about it.
It happens to us with vendors all the time. Especially a vendor here in town. Owner says he ordered it, lies to us, we tell the customer it'll be here. It doesn't show, just to find out he lied. Now I'm the asshole because I told him it would be here, and it's not. Then the guy runs in circles. Lies some more before I tell him his employee already told me he didn't order it. This is stuff you learn in kindergarten man !! Fess up !

Well good news! I spoke with the converter shop (continental) today and they have the converter. It should be done and sent out this week. Not sure when I'll get it back with the holidays and all, but at least I know it arrived and it's getting done. They said they should be able to get me at least 900-1000 more rpm stall out of it which should equate to quicker ET's. How much quicker I don't know, I'm just happy progress is being made.

Well the piss poor service continues. I figured that my first approach of persistance may have been to much and causing this guy to spitefully give me bad service. I backed off and didn't call for over a week. The converter shop (Not Performace Transmissions) was supposed to call me when it got shipped and when I didn't recieve a call I assumed it was still being worked on. Turns out the converter shop sent it out on the 25th of November. It arrived at PERFORMANCE TRANSMISSIONS on the 26th!! I called today and one of his workers said it has been sitting there for a week and he didn't know that CHUCK didn't call me!! Once I go get the converter I'm done with this shop and will never do business there again. I would not recommend them to anyone.
