Clutch install quote

I got a quote today from CPR and they quoted me 300 for my clutch to be installed. You guys think that is too much?

Just make it a WickedStangs install day and buy the beer. We need a good write up with pics for Emilio's online magazine.


Just a thought.....You might want to keep the beer til the install is done though.

there are lots of places to get the flywheel done cost like 40-50 dollars.. And about the Magazine I have began to get it back up and running in perfect condition waiting for access code from our hosting company..

I'll buy like a few cases of beer and some pizza's if we can get some people together, i gotta do some shoping around for a cable and a quadrant too before we do this.

yeah i was almost going to buy a centerforce but i figured the RAm was the best bang for the buck.

Clutch changes are easy! If you can turn a wrench you can change a clutch. If I had never done one though I would invest in a good Chiltons or Haynes manual (if you dont already have one) and read through it before you start the job. Make sure you have everything you need. Another suggestion is that you do it at your auto hobby shop down there, as using a lift for the car and a jack to raise and lower the tranny will make it 100 times easier and save alot of time.
