what do you have done? cams? and stock pi heads??? other then drive ability, you dont really need a tune... 12.6 a/f is decent... right around stock but still a good start.. other then cams and stock pi heads 268tq isnt far off..

**** thats right around a stock 04 GT and cams wont make a car have more power with out supporting mods

Now that we have settled all the garbage out of the disposal, let me drop in a chunk. FOXMAN is correct. Your tune is set as a daily driver and not a drag strip. If you want a race tune for 91 octane, you'll have to aquire one. If you advance your timing to it's limit, or close, your asking for non-audible pinging during certain driving conditions that will shorten the life of your engine. The tune you have is for a daily driver!

garbage isn't out yet trust me lol

The tune i have currently is a stock tune with more fuel and less timing.

The car was stronger on the the i had installed before i took it to the shop for a dyno tune.

Canned 87 tune with +4% fuel and -2 base timing

248hp and 268 trq is about right for a basicly stock 2v with a cams.. if you don't have headers and a aftermarket intake manifold and so on... your leaving a lot on the table.. you have to remember your car was making maybe 205hp or even less to the wheels before you did the cams

ya but i havn't played with it yet. i wanted to log the car and find out if any sensors were reading weird.

and so far they arn't. so i dont know whats up other than the possibly the timing tables are just weak

248 is actually extreamly weak on this setup

do a search for dyno graphs from people with the hitech stage 2's on PI and PI swapped motors... all of them are in at LEAST the 290's up to 315, and yes on mustang dyno's.

not to get caught up on the numbers however i will eventually put my car on another dyno for power verification.

big thing i'm upset about is the fact that i dont see the point in a 30-40 hp conservative tune on a NA motor. Boosted... 30-40 ya i can see that

currently i'm not sure. but it could be a sensor. gonna play with the multi meter here in a little while and check the TPS and make sure its not over volting or something

over volting,,,,lololololololol!!!! goin from big words to phrases that dont even sound right!!LOLOLOL!!!!

any way,,, at that point wouldnt it just be opening your butterfly while your under load!!

... while the engine is off but key on. butterfly open it should read near i believe 4.5v

if it reads too high a voltage then the ecu backs off timing as a safeguard because it realizes it doesnt actually Know how open the throttle is ( this is a guess and not a fact )

closed it should read .98-1.0v

and all this is why you wanted a aftermarket ecu!! well,,, even if thats the case,,, it all turns into a tuning problem correct?? because the tps is just receiving the signal,,, its not actually creating it,,, so it wouldnt necessarily be a bad tps. correct??

And Santa Claus will be here in about 2 months. PI Heads will give you 300hp at the crank, not at the rear. Someone raise me a :withstupid: flag. More bad information placed on the internet doesn't make it true

15% factord in for drive train loss... 248 is still less than 300 and thats WITH cams on my setup

i was kinda tinkin the same!! all those numbers are based at crank,,, but cams shoulndt be netting over 50 hp

Another 15% factored in for a mustang dyno = ?

248 X 1.15 = 285.2

285.2 X 1.15 = 327.98

300 at the crankshaft.....geeeeeshhhhhhhh. How many times does this have to be listed!!!!:banghead:

dough!!!!!! der dee der!!

so lets see here!!! 300 at the crank translates to roughly 255 wheel
and 255 wheel on a mustang dyno translates to roughly 218

so your saying that cams should get you roughly 75 hp,,,, roughly!!! that seems to be a bit far fetched!!!!

maybe on a real 4v lololololololol!!!!!!

oh my god did i just doo,,,,,,, math!!!!! oh sh*it i got to stop while im ahead!!

You guys are smoking crack, i made 252 rwhp and 280 ftlb tq w/o cams, he should be at the 280 to 300 mark with cams i will back up his claim any day....
