They don't MIX! I understand that this thread is worthless without pics, but wait until you see Eric's bushings from the 5000 rpm launches on slicks!!!

Everyone who has said that his car should be in the 7's with that power is right. Problem is when you have rubber bushings absorbing tons of power instead of propelling the car forward you get slower times and tons of suspension travel.

When I say his bushings are tore up, I mean TORE UP!! They are ripped to shreds and pieces of them are missing. The rear lower control arm bushings are the worst, but the front of them are ripped up as well.

If you want better times at the track start switching all of the bushings to solids. Spherical rearend bushings, solid uppers and lowers is a great place to start. They are not bad on the street, so disregard all of the bs you have heard. as long as you are not city driving in pot holes they will be just fine.

Pics coming soon............................

lol I bet. The ones on my GT tooked the same way.

Dude, I had to take them apart with a pry bar yesterday and try to even them out in the control arm. The right rear one was shifted all the way over to one side with metal to metal contact going on with the frame and control arm!

I am surprised he didnt damage his battle box's. Might wanna stiffen those up for as hard as he launches.

I was told beofre that if the torque boxes are good and then you add the Maximum Motorsports full length subs then they will be fine. I guess that could be a crap shoot though.

Mine are fine and I don't have reinforced tq boxes. ARB's take a lot of the stress off of the boxes though.

Then again I'm not leaving @ 5K either though.
