Guys here is my two cents: It doesnt matter what dyno you go too. The reason we dynoed was for fun and talk crap to each other lol. If you really want numbers and this was your first time on a dyno stick with JBA or who ever and use that dyno reg. That way you can see the performance gains from the mods you buy..
As Emilio said the only way to actually test your power is to put it to the pavement and run with it... If you look back on other post from our day at Barona I beat Emilio's time but he has alot more H.P. than me reason I can get mine to the ground and he fries the tires through 3 gears LOL If his car hooked with nice tires I know he break into the 7's
Take it to the track and run what you brung

Which is what I will say if he wins..............."IF" he wins! LMFAO!

I "LET" you win!

I said it on Dyno Day and I'll say it again.

Dyno runs result in one of two things happening afterward.

You walk away after the run either bragging or making excuses.

No two dynos are ever the same so pick one and stick with it, as far as my own numbers, RET had a dynojet and i dynoed at 355 hp and 349 tq and JBA was 341 hp and 360 tq, to me that is weird.

I think there are way too many variables for performance and such. I think the TBSS is legit 330/335......But I will check it at JBA again after the upcoming improvements to have a constant

Good call gibs stick with one dyno. The only problem is JBA is 95 a pull if you just come in off street

The price is not the problem.

What good does it do you to stick to one dyno if they're consistently WRONG?

Forget the price, isn't accuracy more important? Don't want to know what you REALLY have?

Obviously, most of us don't trust JBA's dyno as much as we'd love to say the numbers are real.

Where I usually dyno I believe is more accurate. I have read in many magazines and online what others are getting out of STOCK Mustang GTs with auto trans and where I dyno it was 2 hp different when my car was stock. This tells me they are pretty close. I'd rather stay with that dyno even though their "HONEST" reading may be 325 HP instead of a "FAKE" 340 HP.

Sticking with ONE dyno is important.
Sticking with an accurate dyno is more important.
Price should be the LAST concern.

thats the point i was trying to make. thank you GT400. thats why i went to the dyno shop and paid the 100 bucks for 2 pulls. just to get an idea of how far off it was. like 52 hp difference. that is a big gap. maybe i am somewhere in the middle.

I dynoed twice. 252 and 255, both on warm days but the engine had cooled for about three hours before dyno.

So mine was right about where is should be.....I was 259 the first run and 257 the second.....Good to hear mine was about right......Just for the record that was done on the Dyno that is now owned by Dynomite tuning......Hmmm maybe their dyno is ok.
