Fired up the beast today :( (bad news)

Well good news is the car fired up. The bad news is that the engine may have to come out again!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!

Anyway, it could have been worse, but the flexplate is rubbing the engine block plate(DOH!).the flexplate started to shave it down!! It was one horrible sound and I thought for a minute my engine was toast, lol!

Thanks Emilio, DSG, Soliz and Shane for stopping by. This is the first time in 10years that Emilio helped me, lol! He set my timing.

Well, I have a wedding to go to next weekend in Chi Town, so I won't be able to tackle this for at least 2 weeks.

Bummer, but I'm actually relieved that it was just that and not my valves kissing the pistons or something.

If you could get past the horrible noise from the bellhousing the car sounded like it's going to be a BEAST!

I think I may be able to get this fixed tomorrow. I may just have to tighten the bellhousing bolts. :)

I may not have to pull it. It might be a quick fix. I may just have to tighten the bellhousing bolts.

Well I just went under the car for a closer look. The block plate is just too close to the flexplate. I think the new Moroso oil pan is pushing it towards the tranny. I'm going to do some research and find out if I need a different block plate.

Either way it looks like the engine has to come out in order to fix this.

Yup, the C4 and the T5 bellhousing block plates are different. I wonder why it worked fine with the other oil pan! Oh well, parts on order and engine coming out again. Easy fix.

My car is in a driveway on an incline. I don't have the room to get under there and pull it out. Don't feel like bench pressing it either.

Well like said before man just give me a call and I'll find out if I got duty and if not I'll come over my number is 3618769884
