Thats a very good price for a S/C Saleen. I test drove a fair/poor condition True Blue Saleen N/A in 9/07 and dude wanted $18K. So that there is a DEAL!

damn, i should have shopped around. alot of people are telling me to sell mine cause im in a money bind and just get an old fox body or something like that. its a good idea but i don't know if i can get at least 10 out of it. that's the lowest i can go cause i still owe 11,300 give or take a few bucks. what do you think?

Don't do it. It won't solve your money bind if you get less than your balance. You would still have to pay the finance company the difference out of your pocket if you sell it for less than that balance. On top of that you would still have to come up with money for another car. Slowly but surely make your payments and bring that balance down.

I'm sorry to say, but you won't get more then $8k for your GT. That's just the way the market is right now. It doesn't matter what you add on or how good a condition its in, the market is a buyer market. If you got to different site, used GT going as low as $6k to $7k. Those trying to sell for more then $8k is still on the market. I bought my GT last year for $9300 with 55k miles. Sorry, bro.

I still dont think that one is a real Saleen. I thought the saleens came with the gauges in the center of the dash!!!! I know my friends did. If it is not a real Saleen then it is not worth the money spent!!! For instance I paid 7 cash for my wifes car with low miles. Looks just like a Saleen but it is a V-SUX. Can you tell the difference? I probably couldnt get 4 K for it now. Here are some pics.

Not trying to talk ya out of it just make sure it is the real deal before you or your buddy gets screwed.

I believe I saw this Saleen at Mustang by the Bay. If its the same one, it should have all documentation for it as the real thing. Oh yean, one more thing, real Saleen should have their production number decal on their left front bumper. I'm not saying this can't be duplicated or they put any random numbers on it, but just an FYI.

Yose is right. From my previous experience working for a Ford dealer, here's my conclusion.....

It wasn't an original "Saleen Supercharged" car. That car was N/A, then a supercharger was added. Doesn't specify what kind right!!!

The Saleen Supercharged cars did infact have the gauges mounted in the center of the dash, ALSO, Saleen S/C cars had the "Supercharged" Emblem just below the 281 badge on the fender. Saleen doesn't have pilar mounted gauges. they did all thiers on the dash, including the S331 Truck.

It can very well be supercharged, just not originally supercharged by Saleen.

Doesn't mean it's not a kick butt car! For that price its still a good deal if everything checks out.
