Due to the high temps the car is running, I decided to open the front end and allow more cooling over the top of the engine.

Next, I downloaded this template, cut out the pieces and then taped them to the car. Once I had the paper in position, I took a sharpie to the front bumber and traced out the cutting lines.View attachment 3946View attachment 3947
Punched a hole in each corner with a drill to provide access for the jigsaw. First I covered the jigsaw plate to prevent scraping, then I just removed the entire plate to make it easier in tight spaces. Then I add some Loctite double-stick tape to the bottom and sides.
Once the double stick tape was in place, I placed the insert onto the car and drilled holes in the top; one on each end and one dead center to hold it in place.View attachment 3955

I've always wanted this mod but i didn't wanna risk messing up my bumper...Looks way easier than i thought.
Having the right tools and the template make the mod very simple. I say, "Go for it".
Paint completed...Ready for Mustangs by the Bay!!!! The sun was messing with the camera and causing glare. The paint job is AWESOME!!
