I can't make Fun Ford Weekend. Since I changed my mind about the stall converter it pushed things back because the converter is built as you order it. The converter is not do in until next week. Once it gets there then the car can be put back together within a day. Problem is the suspension will still need to be dialed in and there is a 3 day wait to get in. 5th year that I will not be able to Race in this event. This saddens me :(

sorry to hear that bro i know it sounds bad but just means your car will be more bad ass next year. i have never been to one either

I don't think this is going to be a cruiser. It will be pretty loud and with drag suspension and an automatic it won't make for a very pleasant ride. I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that while doing 65mph I'll probably be steady @ 3000rpm

thats almost where mine is at... bring yours, we can get pictures and cruise up palomar at 5mph. i could use a slow cruising buddy so i dont get left behind by all the "fast cars"


what abot looking for a used converter online that will get you through this weekend???

Once this tranny is in I'm not pulling it out unless I break it!

Most definiteley. David already talked to my tranny guy about his car. He said for $900 he would have david back on the road with neck snapping shifts from his AODE. The only drawback is the AODE's can't handle alot of HP.

AODE can only handle in the 400hp range and I think thats pushing it. After that it's gonna cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
