JBA in San Diego

These guys are a bit expensive at $95 hour. But very upfront and know Mustangs. The only caution I have concerning them is their diagnostic time. They took a little time to find a relatively straight foward problem with my Cobra. On a good note though they found some other wiring concerns that may have caused issues later on.

I like JBA. They have alway been good to me. They are a little higher but for tech support as well as getting job done the first time, and good customer service the get a A+

Sorry never heard of Dante?? but 2 forum guys are recommending him. Where is he located?? I am not disrespecting JBA. I will take my car to them for almost everything. I just wanted people to know they do charge for diagnostic time even on straight foward stuff, but this was my only complaint about them. Overall a great experience at JBA for me.

They put my motor back in and long list of other stuff. I had a rebuilt motor from MMR in Ventura and they put it in for me over a couple of weeks and it was a B!tch for them at JBA. Another 2 shops had lost some parts so we had to order and wait on parts. Also tracked down a nasty electrical problem for me.
I give JBA an A- with excellent customer service. Greg at JBA called me and answered email's often within minutes. Apologize if previous post seemed like I was bagging on them. Please use them with utmost confidence

Dantes is in national city the guy is an expert modular engine tech, he has a bit smaller shop but he turns out some really great work.

I've been to JBA, had a little mishap but J. Bittle took care of everything and squared everything away, As stated before kinda pricey but they do good work. I have been to Dantes 2 times, Not a bad shop but I had limited business with him(bought a Diablosport from him). I wound up taking a trip up to fontana Ca to visit Adam at ST Motorsports, He's one of the best I've seen and turns out some really nasty Stangs.

I just got back from JBA ... Steeda cold air, underdrive pulley & tune ... to go along with my JBA long tube headers & 3" exhaust ... 541 rwhp. They were very professional. I'll go back for my next mod ... with beer.

Yes, JBA is expensive. But you pay for the service and if there is a problem....the owner personally takes care of it. They left a rocker loose on my head istall and it didn't cost me a dime for any of the corrective repair work. As a matter of fact, they all shake my hand and greet me now at the events. Good personal serivce.
