Many unique changes were made to the 427R, based on the Stage III. Roush felt that*the engine was sufficient enough to stay, spinning the rollers at 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque thanks to the 4.6L mill.
The 427R*receives an updated grille and radiator heat sheilds to help improve the cooling system. Vented six piston front calipers with 14 in. slotted rotors*that help the driver stop the vehicle fast when needed. Along with a front-shock tower brace, the package adds adjustable front and rear shocks, springs, stabilization bars and camber/caster plates. Eighteen-inch forged-alloy wheels are fitted with “high performance” tires of undisclosed specification. A*new suspension package was designed for specifically for track competition; along with*a new adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing, white gauges, carbon fiber dash trim, and window louvers. They also thought to administer the 427R’s front fascia and chin spoiler.
