Club Members,
Let me start out by saying that the last 24 hours have been filled with emails and many questions about our relationship with Stangpede. Let me tell you that Ernie came to me and asked if we could air out differences and be more cordial with one another. He logged on last night, on his own, and made the first step towards healing our differences.
From my point of view:
I am not looking to join Stangpede and WickedStangs at the hip. They have their ways of conducting business and modifying cars and we have our ways. However, I would like to be cordial with them at events and even invite them to join us at our events. Whether it is Mustang Vs. The World our a beach picnic, it would be great if all the clubs were welcome.
Personally, I believe, the conduct of some past club members at Stangpede has been less then appropriate. If that temperment continues, it will be impossible to bring the clubs together in any social environment. Ernie has personally ensured me that he will take appropriate actions when his members are out of line. Like Pouya, for those who remember him, I will do the same.
Final Point:
Ernie and I are not looking to merge clubs, just form a respectful relationship. I hope that all WickedStangs Club Members will give this a chance and except Ernies efforts to build a respectful relationship. We cannot change the past, only look to the future and let the new road pave itself. The actions of each club, from today forward, will determine if this can happen.
