Did you read the replies to the article? One guy was simply trying to point out that we have a legal racing venue i.e. Qualcom, and a couple liberal prius driving faggots were giving him a real hard time. One guy was bold enough to call us " Brown/White Trash" and went on to say that all car enthusiasts fall into that category. Funny how these people are bold as brass online, yet I never have one talk to me like that face to face. The general concensus was that any "modified" car was illegal. What is sad is that these are the people who cause us to lose our civil rights little by little.

600,000 is a good investment for San Diego. They give 600,000 now, and reap much more in steep ticket fines etc. for modifications and other things that shouldnt be illegal. Now dont get me wrong, the front is for a good reason. People get killed or kill others while being stupid on the road. But something tells me there is a little more behind the scenes on this.

the same thing is happening on the "tail of the dragon" in the Tennessee/ North Carolina Mtn's. The cop's are busting ANYONE going over the speed limit by any amount.
they really are busting the Bike rider's that go there for the 318 curves in 11 miles, that the road has. It's so bad that the area is loosing millions of $$$ in revenue. You can go to www.tailofthedragon.com and read about it.

Since I live in Chula Vista, Olympic Parkway, where they are targeting, is notorious for illegal street racing and in the past year there has been a high amount of accident and at least 3 multiple fatalities accident due to street racing. I don't blame them for targeting that area. Its a long, straight road, so many uses it for that purpose.

I agree that the illegal street racing should be stopped. What I didn't like was the coments made about the article. One in particular was an offensive little liberal A$$! He made racist remarks and generally called all of us Trash.

That's why I don't read any of those comments anymore. Its pointless and a waste of time. I sometimes had to laugh at either the stupidity or naivity of some people on what they write.

I dont car about the comments that are written. There are many ignorant people in the United States, just look at our government. I just dont think it is right to target scheduled events. It's just like the night they sat in front of Qualcomm and started pulling everyone over. I know there is a law against targeting...just like you cant sit outside of bars and wait for people to walk out!!
