officers target illegal racers

I think many are going off track on this thread. It is targeting "Illegal Street Racers" If you are not doing illegal street racing you have nothing to worry about. It doesn't matter where you go, cops will hassel you for illegal modification and it is not just a California thing. I believe I saw people posting they've been hassel in Virginia, Florida, and a few other states I cannot remember.
But this is about Illegal Street Racing. Let's remember that. This is not picking on car guys. There is a real reason this was done. There is a problem with it and too many people have been killed because of it, not just those involved but other people just happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

yea, that much is true, but according to the article, none of the people that were actually pulled over were racing!!! and on top of that latter on the same page, many of the comments that were mader were directly to the worth of car enthusiasts!!! saying that were nothing but trash!!! this is what im refering too!! along with other things here and there!! and i think what many others are refering to aswell!!

those people who comment on those things are idiots. They don't know what they're talking about for the most part. They write thing just to get a rise from people's reaction.

Those that were arrested may not be racing per say, but I guarantee you they were well over twice the speed limits on that stretch of road. I know that road real well as its just down the street from where I live. The speed limit is 50 mph and for about 2 miles its a straightaway and people loves speeding on that road. So, those that were stopped, I guaranteed they were in excess of 70+

Had the same problem in Mira mesa with import tuners racing on Hillery drive and Black mountain road. I totally agree that 5 Oh needs to squash it....
My issue was with the yahoo who called us all trash... Maybe I'm over sensative, but I have seen (or heard) those types of comments before and it really gets me spun up. It's people like that (the tuners and the guy who made the comment) Who cause the laws to be so restrictive concerning mods to our cars.

Those that write in those comments basically have nothing better to do but write crap to get an reaction from people. You can bet they are the ones that won't say a dang thing in person, but they will say anything hiding behind a keyboard.
That's why I don't even read it and laugh if I catch a glimpse of them. But like everything, its that 1% that ruin it for the other 99%

yea danny ill take a cruze on over one of these days!!! like on the 19th when i get my license back!!!! oh wait thats probably not gonna be the best idea either,,,, the day i get it back is the day i lose it!!!LOLOL!!!!! thats all i need!!LOLOL!!!
