I am taking tomorrow off though. Have to spend some time with the family since my wife has been nice enough to let me live in the garage for the past 9 days.

Well I got the car up and running yesterday. It was too dark to go for a test drive and I was tired as hell. I finally cleaned up and test drove it today and it feels like a monster!! I can't wait till the 25th.
I do have a few issues to get resolved before the race. Since I cut out some wiring I've got a few things to fix. My line lock does not work, but that will be an easy fix it's only two wires. Then a couple of lights on the dash are on that shouldn't be. Other than that all is well and ready to go!!
I've only ran the car twice ever (1/8 mile). The first run was an 8.1 @84mph and I accidentally shifted it into 2nd gear off the launch. The second run I ran a 7.8 @ 83mph and didn't go all the way through the traps in the throttle. I let off with about 10 ft to go. I thought that I could ride out second gear all the way, but when it hit the rev limiter I let off and coasted through the traps.
Since then I have moved the battery to the trunk, shaved 153lbs off the car, put in a full spool w/31 spline c-clip eliminator axles, stock rear springs, 6pt MM roll-bar, a re-stalled tq converter and baseline suspensions anti-roll bar will be going in this coming week.
Therefore I think the car could have run at least a 7.7 with a solid run before, I'm thinking that with all of these changes and the car hooks I'm looking for anything sub 7.50 .
Yea, before the footbrake would only hold to 1400rpm and the right rear tire would start spinning. Just messing around earlier I took it over 2000rpm and the car didn't move.
supposed to be 3500-3800, but the converter shop says it may not stall that high because the car is so light and it only makes about 370 RWHP. I'll find out where its stalling at when I drive it a little more.
