I had ordered RARE SSP for this car, but seems to subtle.

So while Emilio ordered WIKD500 for his, I ordered these:

Nice work Tom, coming together quickly. I'm still interested in the white notch. Next time we get together, lets talk business.

I will get some pics as soon as I find my camera ....

I got some work done today:

upgraded the brake vacuum booster and master cylinder. Boost donor was a 95 V6 and Master Cylinder donor was a 93 Cobra. This will eliminate the 3rd brake line underneath the Fox m.c. and the bigger booster will give me more brake assist. All I have to do now is bleed the whole system once the 95 proportioning valve gets here. Instead of having 3 lines coming from the m.c., I will only have two, front and back instead of two front and one back. Plus the 1" bore in the 93 m.c. will allow for better braking response, along with the braided lines

When installing a larger booster in a Fox body, most articles will suggest to take a hammer to the strut tower and bang it in, giving the larger booster room to be wiggled in. Defacing your car as such is not necessary. I simply took a drill and elongated the 4 holes in the firewall. That gave me wiggle room to angle the booster in. It's a VERY tight fit though!!!

Next week....

-steering rack replacement with bump steer kit
-drive shaft safety loop
-hopefully an engine!!!!

You should write a walkthrough on the steering rack! I need to replace mine when I get home. I really need to do a brake upgrade too. We shall see!

ok....short block is done! (I'll have "assembled" pics later)
these are cell phone pics builder sent me today before assembly. He has better quality in his camera. The block is shown prior to final honing.

Also... received the Hurst Line-Loc today

I plumbed the Hurst Anti-Roll (Line Loc).

I did away with the stock proportioning valve since its specific to rear drum stangs and I now have 4 wheel disc. I added a Wilwood PV at the firewall to adjust rear brake bias, and plumbed front rears directly to master cylinder. You'll also see the 93 cobra master cylinder and 95 Cobra booster in the pic. I just need to wire it up!

I can't find my digital camera so my out dated Palm 650 will have to do

plus the builder sent me these. Should be done tomorrow

A few more odds and ends and its getting stuffed in by Wednesday evening. Still need intake spacer, oil fill tube, misc nuts/bolts and tires. Firing up probably on Friday morning. If its road worthy, I'll have it at Barona this weekend
