Is there anyway to adjust the final times to take account for the red light. How about, if you get a red light, you take the inverse of your actual reaction time (a negative number), add .6-.7 to it(would be best to look at the drivers average reaction time, then add that number to your final track time. If it's still a winner, and not that close. The red lighter is still KOT. If it's EXTREMELY close, then the red lighter can agree to a re-match. But if after the adjusted the redlighter is slower than the other driver, the other driver is KoT, but can agree to a rematch.
If you take into account reaction time, which is part of racing, then you are just looking at the ET....how fast the car got down the track. Racing is reaction time and car speed, both have to accounted for and a RED LIGHT is a LOSS!!
