The function of a sway bar is usually to prevent weight transfer from one side to the other in cornering situations. By preventing weight transfer, the inside wheel in a corner maintains more of its static weight.

When Drag Racing you want to remove it so you get better weight transfer.

I run with no sway bar all the time, it makes a big differnce at the track to get the nose up for me. As far as running on the street you get alot of body roll but i control that with setting the shocks and struts stiff.

lol all you really have to do is unbolt the end links once you get to the track and put them back on when you leave... you dont have to take the hole thing off every time... I like sway bars...

For a spring to pop out you have to have ripped a strut bolt off. That isn't gonna happen.

Have you been to the track? If so with what tires? What rpm did you go through the traps at?

You likely don't need a 28" tire. I would go with a 26x11.5 E.T.street

You will need plenty of tq to get those 28's moving and those mod motors aren't known for making big tq#'s.
