yeah i know rich can for sure i dont know bout dustin they both are hella smart regardless and do great work. well i put a tramp stamp on my car they are so good. i know alot of things affect dyno #'s and every dyno is different. humidty, elevation, weather, temp plus not all mods work well with eachother

Well I have a theory after months of hearing about these DMT Dyno Days.......
1. the normal guy that shows up there and dyno's has numbers that are right on where they should be. But he pays their normal price.......
2. When doing "Free/reduced/benefit Dyno Days" most people show their numbers are low.....thus making them want to make sure the tune is good on the car......Their options are:
A. Setup a time to tune it based on the fact that they proclaim that they can find XXX amount of extra HP usually
B. They bring it back later to have it tuned so they are using the same dyno and have consistent numbers
In the end DMT ends up selling them 4 hours or so of dyno tuning time that mysteriously gets them the numbers they thought they should have had to begin with.
Cliff Notes version:
They set the dyno up to run low on dyno days in order to get people to come back and spend 100 an hour having them tune it......... basically FRAUD!!!!! or some variation there of.
I would love to do an investigation on this practice to see what it ends up with.
I wouldnt take my f-ing lawnmower there to get tuned, or my kids power wheels..........LOL
I think there are some shady practices going on there. I am sure of it. I am not insulting some of those people that we know that work there as they may not know or have anything to do with it.

We should do a sting expose'. Take in a car with a positively known HP reading from TWO reputable shops and then got to DTM and let them fudge their numbers. TV shows used to disable a car with something minor and take the car to a shop to see if they accurately and HONESTLY diagnosed the problem or if they lied to the customer and tried to sell them an expensive unecessary repair.
