I went there before with Beejay when he was dynoing and asked about getting mine on there after headers and x-pipe. I think I paid 40 or 50$ I cant remember but I wanted to run on there because the first time on that dyno at other shop I put down 298RWHP wanted to see if numbers changed. I think it only put down 301 or something so I was like what the crap! Long story short! After multible about 5 runs trying to adjust some stuff to get my car running good with hp numbers my new headers gaskets blew. I talked to them about the runs ect after i was going to get charged 150$ I was like wait a min I didnt ask for all the tuning and back to back runs. What about my headers gaskets? I was thinking about my time for install. He was like bring it buy tommorow night we can fix it.. cool on his part to late and inconvient for me. I ended up taking it to JBA and had them install new gaskets and torque it down. 340$ after they where torqued twice. I knew that they where done right though! When we dynoed at JBA my A/F was so far off they didnt even spray my car. I put 310 rwhp mid 362 on torque but I had been running that adjusted tune since the time I dynoed at that shop cause according to there dyno it was right where it should have been. I was told that with some tuning with there soft wear for SCT that they could get better numbers out of my car. In there defence though a shop is a shop JBA wanted to sell me one to lol! SCT is a west coast thing. I am sticking with Diablo..

Just another reason to avoid them. I know you did not know at the time you went there about them. Thanks for the info on this place. Hopefully other people get run off from these guys. They are breaking/ripping off more than they are helping.

Just my opinion.

If anyone else has a problem with this shop, please post up.

Also lastly Phil....your situation goes right with what I stated above as my hunch as to what they were doing there.......

Yeap I remember there was a big thing on net and papers a cpl years ago about express lubes doing same thing. Get a woman in there to get oil changed tell them they need new fluid, brakes going bad ect charge them for parts and pocket the money

I think it is to each their personal opinion on which is a dependable dyno shop. Everyone have their favorites, pros and cons on each. But whichever one you go to, make it consistent and you have a more accurate reading on your power. But I think it is in agreement that "ONE" shop is crap....I think it can be an unanimous agreement on that.
