well the E3 are not suppose to be gaped.. did you check to see if oil was in the spark plug wells... you could just have a leaking Valve cover gasket o ring on that cylinder...

The tune up and oil change will be nothing, we can do it the same day just get everything you want to do, and ya the oil was on the threads, it is the gasket, I just dunno what is causing the miss...

its really easy to fix... the valve cover gaskets for my Lincoln were like 60 bucks... and made from a newer material..

the oil getting on the plugs is causing the miss, and it probably killing the coil as well... my lincoln had this same problem, I had to buy 8 new coils and plugs then replace Valve cover gasket...

yours are probably leaking because it has 100,000 miles on it

sounds good to me, ill get the gaskets asap, but im going to wait to put on the quadrant, cable and adjuster until i get the trans and clutch

whats wrong with your trans and clutch... the quadrant and cable and adjuster go on in about 20 minutes... you might not need the clutch... just the adjuster...

trans and probably the clutch have 100,000 hard miles on them, the trans has a tone of back lash like you would normally hear in the rear end

has your trans fluid ever been changed... the the slope in the trans could so be from a inproper clutch adjustment

I guess if you have the money... the quadrant and cable have nothing to do with changing the clutch or trans though... i would just put it on..
