3APR Car Show

NWAutoEvents is hosting a car show on the 3rd of April in Kent WA. The purpose of the event is to raise money for Japan. Last week I attended an event called Drive for Japan, which we started out from Whidbey, went down to Bremerton, and ended in Seattle at the Red Cross. Unfortunantly, their not open on weekends so we couldn't get a picture or make donations, so they rescheduled the event and then decided to just do the car show. I know it's short notice but I figured we could get some WS members to this to represent.

I think we make this event, my parents are in town and it would make a good gtg and they can just drive home from it. I cant see the facebook page. If you guys coming from the north want to train down, we can meet right off the freeway in marsyville and head down.

Ok so I talked to Albo earlier today about planning how to drive down there... There's a couple different ways to come down from Whidbey, I'm down for taking the Mukilteo way down and then finding a way to dodge traffic thru Seattle... But since it takes 2 hours to drive down there, leave around 8?

It's on a sunday so I dont think traffic should be too bad unless there is a game going on. It doesn't matter to me if we drive around or catch the ferry it takes about the same amount of time. If we take the ferry we should make reservations so we all get on the same ferry. Here is the ferry schedule link, http://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/ScheduleDetailByRoute.aspx?route=muk-cl 0800 depart from Oak Harbor should be fine. We could meet up at the ford Dealership about 0745 and roll out at 0800. Make sure your gased up! We should make the 0900 one.
So far I am not on the watch bill so I should be good to go!

you'd like to think traffic wont be bad, but you'd be surprised. It wont be as bad as a week day, but it wont be good either. That is one thing to get used to. We transit I5 from oly to everett a lot due to the inlaws

Mukilteo/Clinton - Cancelled: Planned April 1-3 Closure of Mukilteo Terminal
The planned closure of the Mukilteo Terminal April 1-3 has been cancelled. The construction project was completed early and service returns to normal on Monday morning, March 28, with the 4:40 am sailing from Clinton.

Are you gonna have your wife drive one of yours? You should! I am not sure because we are gonna catch the Mukiltio ferry across. I will get on mapquest today and find a good spot.

I just seen that on the news . They should have a detour set up, but not sure. I will look on mapquest for an alternate rout. Or do you have a suggestion since you live on that side? Thanks for the heads up Dustin.

I suggest you take the ferry over to this side Albert. We all meet up in Bremerton Dennys and leave from there picking Soji up along way through tacoma to the 5 and head straight there. Maybe we can get Soji to come down and travel with us from Bremerton area up.

Phil that is a possibility the ferry leaves coupville at 0845. We could make that one. Let's see which way every one want's go. Your way is about 30 min longer but thats just more cruising for me, which I enjoy!
