Good turn out but personaly I was a bit dissapointed. Organization was poor no map no planed stops and clearly no one had scouted the route before hand. To add insult to injury poeple leading the cruise blasted out and waited for no one. Group was scattered and confused. Was like the blind leading the blind. Add a few crazy ass drivers in the group showing off with no regard to other drivers safety and it was just plain annoying. Just my 2 c. Great idea but a little better organization would have really helped.

Concur with the above......
One of the issues with the route was it was scouted months ago. They since changed the names of the roads. We did not know that info. The route was also, not as busy when it was run. It was quite a bit busier today than any other time I have been up that way. As far as the crazy ass drivers, I did not witness anybody doing anything stupid but did hear that some people were. We do not support that.

Lesson learned was that we need maps, and smaller groups of no more than 10 cars at a time. I know at one point I had like 25 people behind me. For that I apologize ad take full responsibility.

lcapt: I hope you will join us again for a cruise. That Mach is very nice.

not to mention i got the craziest dyno of my life. prior dynos where 401/408 at dynomite, 373/388 bat ret, 360/420 at jba? wtf? im thinking either it was something with load on the dyno or maybe because it wasnt strapped down? once it got going it wasnt even touching the back rollers. not to mention it had me at 12lbs boost and running way lean even though greg has my a/f pegged at i think 11.4 across the board. dont think it was very accurate. of course i had heard about their dyno before. i thought of going to dynomite on the way home to compare but decided against it.

Yep I think the TBSS was wrong too. It showed a max speed of 119 and the speedo said it was at 130+. Would that inflate the numbers?

i dont know. had a great time but for the record, jba dyno ftmfl. making 360hp what they show as "12.3lbs" of boost. seriously. 360rwhp with the 10lbs i do have is ridiculous. it made 373 at ret and it was 105 degrees out and had not been sitting to cool down. the weather today and my car sitting i should have put low to mid 380s at least. with 390-400ftlbs.

I think it was because it was not strapped down personally.

and the HP numbers are close to RET's the A/F was off on a few peoples as they claimed....

dont think the hp was that close. 373 at 105 degrees on a warm engine verse 360hp at like 75 degrees on a cold engine. hp numbers where low on mine, but i saw a few guys they where high. i think its cause they were not strapped.

It picks up tach signal from the number one plug. Did they even have that hooked up? If they did then I would say it has to do with their calibration being off. That dyno is not calibrated properly. There was no consistency. I also noticed that normally at a dyno you hear the change in rpm as the car starts revving up, today I heard the same pitch throughout the rpm range. Weird. Plus if the rear wheels are not making full contact with both dyno wheels I think that would have a direct impact on inertia of the rollers almost like a slipping clutch. Just my opinion and observation. I could be 100% wrong, but they don't have the best track record. I personally like the DYNO SHOP alot better.

It was still an awesome event and thanks to JBA for allowing it to happen.
