stage 2 kit
This kit uses manifold boost pressure to determine when and how much fluid to inject. Proportionally injecting according to boost pressure gives the most accurate delivery of water-methanol and allows the most cooling and performance improvement over the widest range. More power and driveability is the result. It can be used on any forced induction engine: carbureted, fuel injected, turbocharged, positive displacement or centrifugal blowers. The most suitable are the centrifugal supercharged and turbocharged engines, as they build boost is a more progressive manner concerning water-methanol injection. The positive displacement blower engines will work, but it might take more work to dial in the delivery. For higher boost applications (over 25psi), the controller can be upgraded to our VC100 unit. Now with Lifetime Warranty - please see details.

Kit includes:

• 150+ PSI High Volume Pump
• 3 Quart Reservoir
• Digital Variable Controller
• 2 Nozzles To Cover a Wide Range of Horsepower
• All Required Hardware Needed For Installation
• Comprehensive Instructions

$410 from rpmoutlet.com which is the cheapest i could find it from a speed shop with out going to ebay, i figure this will be more cost effective then putting a air to air intercooler because a decent one will cost about 1500 and that is not including the labor and or parts to complete the kit. when all said and done i'm gonna run 10# pulley along with a new tune.

yes, i haven't had any probs with them, i ordered it from them because for some damn reason they have rock bottom price on the stage 2 kit and every where else they want 480 not including shipping so....regardless of their rep i would rather pay less out of my pocket.

i'm sure it would do fine.... but as far as alcohol and other injection systems snow performance is the only one that has any sort of real publicity.... so.... that means they probably produace a qulity product thats why i went with the boost cooler.

besides i think using 1 gallon of windshield washer fluid and 2 bottles of heet would be less exspensive then buying one gallon of alcohol and especaily on a DD to say the least.

My differential is leaking a little bit after the race on saturday and i figured if i have to replace the gasket may as well upgrade the cover while im at it, i asked orange if it was a good piece and he said yeah, so i paid 160 from summitt and second while i was at it, i ordered the money shot.... i got a 3.40 pulley which i will add shortly along with the boost cooler kit, the new pulley is not regularly sold so i had to go to vortech directly for the 3.40 pulley, this pulley should bring me up to 10 or 11 PSI depending on the wheather and how well my boost pipe works. BTW my boost cooler should be here on friday, and i'm having trouble deciding on who i want to get my tune through again, i like gregs(RET) tune but my SES light comes on all the time saying that the right bank is running rich which to me is obviously a tuning issue and he is in LA to say the least.... now, that is out, i have a couple of choises JBA or Dantes.... which would you choose.... or if you guys can come up with other suggestions i would be happy to hear them.

I had my two valve to 400 built on the juice and still sup a rod bearing. Just lettin ya know man.

thank you, i appriciate the concern but i think, if it takes a dump i'll rebuild the engine to a street/strip beast. Actually i'm more concerned about my differential then any thing. Im looking to get a DD truck so i can save the stang for racing and cruising on the weekends. To say the least im comforable with 400 HP on DD.

10 to 11 psi... i would be worried more about my block then the diff.. i have seen 5.0 roller blocks spit in half with 11psi thats cast iron... not to sure how well the 4.6 can handle that...

Im sure that would happen if the tune is f'd up and the person that owns it drives the car like they stole it every where they go, which i dont, from what i have read these cars can handle up to 14 PSI given that they have had all things kept up on the car. This block has about 76,000 miles on it and well see what happens, the only way to know, is to just do it, if she sh'ts the bed then that is a part of racing and life.

this was a very easy mod to do, it's just a matter of taking 10 bolts off and then clean the diff. and then bolting up the new one. The toughest part was putting in the gear oil, using a oil pump with gear oil takes forever. Very happy with end result. :)

well after i got my boost cooler kit on friday i found out it was the wrong one....:nonono::nonono: this kit is meant for a roots style blower that conents to the MAF sensor. Well i started to look at the kit and come to find out that this kit has the same set up as the one that is for centrifigual blowers which uses boost to measure the amount of water methonal to inject this sensor can switch between both maf signal and boost. All that is missing is a small 'T' and and a 1/4" rubber hose to hook up to the boost gauge and thats it. SO im happy that i dont have to send it back.:D
