OK....I just did the Mustangs Vs. The World event with you guys. I figured, I just had to write this. Seeing how this was a unique situation. Because this was my FIRST event with you guys. It was much more then just a gathering, it was a sportsmans racing event which had to coordinated, get together, technical help for members, cruise to the event, attendance of the members. It wrapped everything of one "might" be involved with, into one event.

All I could think of at first is to write was "WOW!!!!". You guys did one hell of a job with this event. Walking into the event, I had not met any of you in real life. By the time I left, I felt like I had know all of you for years. Even members who were not racing came up to introduce themselves.

The turn out of Mustangs and Fords was great. I think what I heard someone in the crowd say while I was standing in the line getting ready race sums it up pretty well....."You guys are Wicked Stangs?....You sure are Representing Strong!" English language aside, he said it with a lot of RESPECT.

Event organization. Given the rain situation, and the track not really giving us that much "priority" at times. You guys did a great job. Maybe at times there was a little confusion, but you pulled it through. And if I ever had a question, I always found a Wicked Stangs member to ask, and if they didn't know, they helped me find out. Myself and my son were taking video (mostly my son) and when I got home to look at the video, I saw 1.5 hours of nothing but run after run of racing video, I realized, there where one hell of a lot of runs made that day. That took organization!

Representation of the club. Being an older guy and bringing my son (17) to a lot of car events, I admit, I worry sometimes about the quality of people he will be around and the family friendlyness of some clubs. Although I am sure Wicked Stangs does have celebrations from time to time, I didn't hear a bunch of cussing, gangster rap, fighting, alchohol, etc. In fact, the sportsmanship of all the racing was great. I think you showed that it wasn't about setting a trend of being some sort of outlaw racing gang, but it really was about the cars and just having some fun. You set a good example.

Another thing happened while I was there, that really reflected good on Wicked Stangs, was what the track did for me. First time there for me. When I came into the event, I gave them a $100 bill to pay for our $50 entrance fee. At lunch time I realized that there was no money in my wallet??? Then I remembered coming in and they didn't give me my change??? I thought I would mention it to them, but really didn't expect them to do anything about. Without hesitation, they gave me the $50 when we told them what happened. That takes a lot of character. They have my support from now on!

The only negative I can see is that you don't make yourselves better known and more actively persue members. So congradulations Wicked Stangs a GREAT EVENT!. I want to say THANK YOU for one of the best events I have ever been too. And I am guessing I have been to thousands of club events and races.

And thank you to Phil for turning me on to Wicked Stangs.

I really appreciate what you guys did this weekend.

Wondering where I am!?!?
Thanks for the great comments!!

My wife and I were the couple in the Ford Racing Jackets talking to you at lunch.

The look on your face when you got your change, hours after entering the track, was priceless!!

Glad you and your son enjoyed the Event and we look forward to seeing you around in the future!
