clutch questions

with the hard to shift part it could be a bent shift fork. the last cobra i had, had that prob it wah hard enought to shift that i the fastest the car would run was 9.4-9.5's in the 8th and after 8.8-9.0's.

i checked the cable at the tranny, it looked good, i will check it at the pedal tonight. im just wondering why it would work better after the car has been running for awhile. i was thinking something to do with the transmission warming up or something, but i really have no idea. thanks for all the good info, i will get it checked out asap.

Truly you should never have to change the oil in a manual tranny, but it's always a good idea if you are not the original owner of the car just to be on the safe side.

thats why i did it, wasnt sure how it bad it was and when i saw the condition the rear end was in i had to check the tranny. good thing i did, it looked terrible

i do mine yearly because im over protective of my baby. i change all the fluids reg. oil every 2500-2700 everything royal purple
