i was stoked but i wanted to know for sure. i was lying to myself. i had to know after everyone was talking about their numbers and the contraversy. still comes out to about 469 at the fly.
DSG were you the one that stopped by on Monday? I was out of the office yesterday so I don't know if Dante and you spoke again. After you stopped by I looked on here and found there were many more people other than just you that had weird readings. So your A/F could be off, but whether it reads low or high, it still leans out at 6400rpm iirc, so keep it under 6100 just to be safe for now bud. FFS
the highest i take it is to 6000, dont make any more power after that anyway. FFS i do want to get tuned but i am having issues getting my SCT livewire back. yep thats me good ole DSG. the laughing stock of the mustang community.
thanks wiked. im thinkin suspension and tires. anyone monkey can go fast in a straight line but when you kick the ass end out in 4th and drift through a corner....that is more my style.
Gib you're right. Although I cannot recall on a dyno dynamics whether they can manually enter the correction factor or not? Some dynos you can and some use weather stations that automatically figure the correction factor for you, (but most of the time can be over-ridden anyhow). Way back in November 2007 when we used their dyno, it had that same 1.17 correction factor, so theoretically if you use that correction factor and it is valid, which it should be, the DMP truck laid down 826/798.
Divide your numbers by whatever correction factor is on your print out, and that should give you pretty accurate corrected results.
For instance, DSGs numbers are more realistic and seem appropriate at 393/379 for his mods. FFS
The not being strapped down would cause you tpbe lower than expected and their Dyno.....aka "Dream Maker" is reading high......
My ratio was 55:1 and the correction factor was 1.17.........I have a stock TBSS with 4.10 gears. How the heck can you tell if that is the right ratio? I work with reduction gear and crap. I know how it works, and what the ratio means but how would I know if that was correct or not?
