Dyno Shootout print outs.....

This is not directed towards any person/company directly, but if I took my truck somewhere and they did not strap it down I would not let them make the dyno run, period.

GT400 I don't know what to tell you, if you use that correction factor it is more realistic and logical on some of the cars and trucks I have seen from there, almost all. The problem is everyone goes by different dynos and none are exactly the same. After alot of research and going through many courses and obtaining several different certificates for dyno operation, theory, and tuning, Dante and myself chose a Mustang dyno. Afterall isn't the most important thing, how the car/truck drives and performs, not what numbers it spits out? Due to the load placed on the Mustang dyno, it does read 15% lower than the average dyno-jet, almost exact, so we just tell our customers, these are your numbers, these are your numbers on a dyno-jet and add the 15%. Like other have said, the numbers that really count are at the track! FFS

I totally agree, it's a mystery to me. Best I can do is stick with the same dyno and HOPE they're at least consistent with themselves and dyno after each mod to see if it made a difference.

Guys did you miss my post? I said same thing... If you dyno use same dyno to see your improvements. Teh purpose was to have fun at talk a little smack to each other. We all dynoed the same dyno and yes number where off but all of our numbers where off lol. What matters is how the car performs on track. You can have all the hp numbers you want on a dyno BUT if you cant get it to the ground and drive the force then all the hp doesnt matter.

Lol, my dad said that I can't have a Cobra for my next car, no matter how old I am at the time. He doesn't want me to have a car that's faster than his....

Nope, puts out more power than his. Atleast until he decides to supercharge it....

"What [daddy] doesnt know can't hurt [daddy]" lol. Once you buy it, too late, can't get rid of her. Just get it behind his back, and then that will motivate him to mod his sooner and more. It's a win-win for the automotive world no matter how you look at it lol. FFS

And then dad kicks him out of the house. You can't live (comfortably) in a Mustang although some people were conceived in one.
