Then we get to DMT is where the fun begins. well let me first say im not trying to make up excuses for my numbers but before me a C5 with all bolt ons AND a Whipple supercharger @ 7 lbs puts down 350hp he said he lost apparently 80-90hp in 2 months some how.

now your telling me on this very dyno that i dyno'd on 13 months ago for WS first cruise i dropped from nor did get any AFR's 287hp to 263 and 293tq to 256 after adding steeda underdrive pulleys, switching from SLP powerflow exhaust to flowmaster(because they scrapped so much a hole formed and had to be replaced), aluminum driveshaft, SCT 91 oct tune? it didnt bother me too much but then the midget gets in my car and pulls off and goes to park it then proceeds to drive the front bumper up on the curve as i hear crunch i turn around and one sik notch and his gf/or wife is looking at me like WTF i walk up to the guy "dude u just drove my car on the ****ing curb" he looks at me says "did i?" backs up and get out walks back to the shop didnt say sorry or anything. its not like there was a ****ing line to dyno there were maybe 7 people there not including staff so its not like things were hectic. here is a pic of the bumper after wards:

pissed off i left. thinking something might be wrong with my car i drove home and stopped by the DYNOSHOP but they were closed and also wanted 127 dollars lol! so i called up JBA asked if they had any openings they sure sure swing on by. i tell them my pity story pay 95 and we get it on the dyno my afr's were about .6 13.3-13.5 high after my first run. i put down 293tq and 275hp Derek asks me if i have my handheld tuner with me which i did so derek says bruce(general manager) is here and does the tunes you should see if he can hook u up and not tune but adjust ur fuel from it. we go into the officer and Bruce is like sure so he hooks it up adds 6% fuel and says derek lets try that so we put it back on and it puts down 302tq and 284rwhp which i am very pleased with i shook bruce handed and dereks thanking them for their help and for one making my car safer afrs then were 12.7-12.9 which is better. they also think SLP is a lot better for the 4v cause yes flo's sound good but arent as free flowing they said i could have made a cple more hp but also my dyno run on apr2207 there was 306hp 310tq was also 19000 miles ago.

i know i know all you WS member warned me but i wanted to one dyno since i havent dyno'd in a while and it was the same dyno as for the first WS cruise at DPR and two to benefit jason. plus i wanted to give DMT a chance.....

Wondering where I am!?!?
I am speechless about the bumper damage!

I warned you about that place.......that sucks that such a thing happened.....

Your numbers are lower than mine now......and you were about 30 above me on the same dyno 14 months ago. Hmmmm well that sucks.

Now I am convinced that DMT is the antichrist. Avoid at all cost list for me.

Das is veboten! (That is forbidden!!!)

Did they even ackowledge wgat they did?

Man, I wouldn't have left there without SOME sort of agreement to either be compensated (cash on the spot to have it fixed) or an agreement in writing to reimburse you if you have it fixed with a reasonable monetary limit imposed to protect both parties.

If you haven't gotten anything from them before leaving, you're pretty much toast unless they admit it.

It's your word against theirs. Even if they KNOW they did it and say they didn't, can you PROVE they did?

Witnesses?

Take Satan to small demons court!

EXCELLENT!!!!

We have a winner!

Did SATAN ever admit to anything?

Anything like "Damn dude, I'm really sorry" or "Don't worry, we take care of it."

These are statements made indicating culpability and accepting responsibility. Kind of hard for them to back away if they said anything of the sort.

If they did say something like this and still want to be arrogant enough blow you off, you can still do things to get satisfaction. And what LEVEL of satisfaction is up to you.

You can repeatedly inquire in person as to when they are going to fix your car and get them to deny you 3-4 times. Doing this in person is more important and confrontational than by phone. Gets them a little unnerved when you're in their face! This is setting them up for the next step. Doing this shows the average citizen that you TRIED to resolve this and you gave them MULTIPLE chances to make you whole.

Next step.

Publicize what happened and their refusal to fix their damages. Make it known to anyone you can what they did and their refusal to fix it. Post the story everywhere you can. Here, any other online club you belong to, Craigslist, because they advertise there. Make sure as many people hear about them as you possibly can. Then, let them know about all the trash talk on the internet about them. It's a good possibility that this will have an impact on their clients and eventually their pocket book. But you must be totally factual and honest, don't over-state and make up stuff. Tell it EXACTLY like it happened and that you have witnesses. You rarely can get in trouble telling the truth. This is the "SHAME" technique. You shame them into submission.

Another variation of the shame technique is to show up when they have MANY customers at their shop (one of their Dyno Days) and ask if they are going to fix your car. If they still deny you justice, get a little louder so the other clients can hear you. This is also known as the "Embarrassment" technique. They will often ask you to keep it down because the other clients may hear you and of course, clients means money. Continue to get louder and demand satisfaction until the either capitulate or ask you to leave the premises. If they ask you to leave, go to the next step.

This step is the "I'll show you, you M'Fer!" technique. You will have to prepare for this beforehand. Go to the drug store and buy a large piece of poster board and make a sign that says DIE NO MITE TUNING WRECKED MY CAR AND WON'T FIX IT" in BIG legible letters. When they tell you to leave the premises, do it and tell them "OK, but I won't be far away. I have a nice sign already made up because I figured you'd continue to try to screw me. And I'm taking my sign to the PUBLIC sidewalk near the entrance where customers drive in and I'm going to stand there until you fix my car. I'm going to do my damndest to cost you customers and more money than if you'd just repair the damage you've done".

And then you must follow through and go out there and pull the sign out and stand there on public property. Make sure that as soon as you position yourself, you face them for a few seconds so they can see the sign and then turn to face their clients, new arrivals, etc.

The first time they spot you talking to one of their customers, or the first time they see a customer talk to you and then leave without purchasing their services, they will realize you are having an effect on their business/wallet. Personally, I would be there EVERY day (when I could) until I got satisfaction.

You can beat them at their own game!

Damn, VP. You know how I feel about that shop, but you were there for a good cause. I hate spending large amounts of money to get "professional" service and then they screw you over. I tell you, it's tough to trust anyone. Tell CPR to get a Dyno!!!
