Whipple re-schedule

Nobody is trying to take anything away from Venom. Just in case you (Foxman) didn't notice, it was Superstang21 that started this thread about a reschedule. Nobody here in San Diego did anything to "take an event out for under a man that has been working on it for over a year just for San Diego's benefit" as you so wrote. The original event was planned with Venom and Superstang and all agree to have the racecar there.

Foxman, if you believe getting sponsorship is for the sole purpose of the the racecar, you are very wrong. Sponsorship means support for the website. That means possible money from sponsors to keep it running, price breaks for the members (talk to SuperStang), and other benefits. Yes, it will possibly garner some benefits to the racecar, but the members will benefit from this also

Also, Foxman. "it's running BITCHES!!!!!" is a "motto" we in San Diego adopted for the racecar. So, no, its not directed at you.

Sorry people, but I felt this had to be said. So if I hurt anybody's feeling. Too Bad!

well you know what man... you guys took what i said way wrong.. Yes superstang21 is the one who started this thread... but who was the group of people crying about the dates that didnt work for them and were saying those dates wont work because the "race car" cant ****ing make it..... Trust me your not hurting my feelings buddy, i could give a fly f*ckless what you think...

oh and the sponsor ship for the race car moving down to the MEMBERS is BS... especial from the WICKED STANG SPERFORMANCE SHOP!!! i cant ever get a price or even a straight f*cking answer for that shop... and don't even think BECAUSE the race car was MAYBE getting a sponsor superstang21 got a discount.... THAT HAD nothing to do with SAN DIEGO.... that was ALL CENTRAL VALLEY.. so don't start taking credit away form the CV guys that work there a s s off for that discount!

I make one comment and you make it seem like im attacking San diego... but after that comment now i will! THIS WAS A CENTRAL VALLEY EVENT..... DONT LIKE IT KISS MY A S S!!!!!

One thing needs to be set straight right now… No matter which chapter organizes an event, it is still a WICKED STANGS event, and ALL Wicked Stangs members are welcome to attend. The dates for the Whipple tour were primarily dictated by Whipple, not the SD chapter. But, the SD chapter was specifically requested to attend in order to get enough participants for Whipple to even take this event into consideration, so of course extra planning needed to be done to get as many people to go as possible…. That was NOT done to accommodate SD, but to accommodate as many participants as possible.

Regarding the discount and sponsorship, don’t really understand why there are feelings of dissension regarding who should be given credit for any discount offerings or sponsorship for the Club as a whole or the car? Didn’t think it mattered, because all board members (no matter which chapter), especially senior members, play a huge part in this and all deserve credit for their efforts. This is a collaborative effort; this is not a contest between chapters.

You can get cost comparisons from other companies for the items you are interested in; Wicked Stangs Performance shop will always be cheaper because we are not placing a mark up over the distributor costs.
