Well the tranny shop didn't put in the stall that I requested, so I went back and after a little talking he said to bring the car back on monday and he will send the converter out and have it re-stalled to what I asked for which was 3500-3800rpm. What I got was more like stock!! My car will spin the right rear tire @ 1500rpm while holding the footbrake! It's supposed to allow me to get closer to 3000rpm before it starts pushing like that.

Bad news is - I won't be racing at the Q

Good news is - if they fix it right this time my 60ft times should increase drastically, which will equate to faster E.T.'s!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I will pull the engine this weekend and just bring them the converter, that way I can fix my oil pan leak again!! AHHHHHH!

I wish I could do that, but we are having thanksgiving here tomorrow because my mother-in-law will be gone for thanksgiving this year. She's going to visit my father-in-law in missouri. He is out there working and can't come home so she is going over there.

I will only be working on the car for a few hours tomorrow, but I forgot you guys had that cruise. It's all good man I can handle it. I already have most of it disconnected. I had to stop because the car is still hot and I don't want to get scalded by anti-freeze. Have fun on the cruise.

Only made 2 passes. The 1st pass I took off in second gear ( I fudged up) and cut a 1.8 60' and a 8.1@84mph . The second pass was better, but shut down early before going through the traps and it ran 1.8 60' and 7.8@83

aleast you cut in the 7's, but i think if you shut down early you should very well possible clos to 7 flat.

it was only about 20' early. It may only have been a 7.7-7.6, still not too bad for my first time out in 5+ years. The car has a little more in it and once the converter gets right I should be closer to 7.5's-low 7's on motor.

should be fun times. i just got slicks from mav today. i think im going to use them at the q but i need to put the drive shaft loop on this week.

The only way you will see it run is if we line em up. You're always racing, so you won't have a chance to see me run unless it's from the pits!
